Privacy policy
Last updated: July 6, 2026 · Applies to offloadhours.com and everything under it.
The short version
We collect only what you choose to give us — a contact form, a phone call, or an email address to unlock our free book. We use it to respond to you and, if you opted in, to send occasional emails. We never sell, rent, or share your information with anyone. Ask us to delete it and we will.
What we collect and why
- The audit request form — your name, email, company/role, and the process you describe. It's emailed directly to us so we can respond; it doesn't feed a marketing database. The hidden "website" field is a spam trap for bots — humans never see or fill it.
- The phone line, (832) 909-1882 — answered by an AI auditor. To produce your emailed summary, the call is processed automatically: what you say is transcribed and summarized by AI. Treat the call like an email — don't share confidential details you wouldn't write down. Calling the number is your consent to this processing.
- The free book (The Work You're Avoiding) — asks for an email to unlock chapters and records basic anonymous reading stats. It has its own plain-language privacy & terms page; the same principles apply: no selling, no sharing, unsubscribe anytime.
- Server logs — like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (IP address, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.
What we don't do
- No selling, renting, or sharing your information with third parties.
- No advertising trackers and no third-party analytics on this site.
- No cookies set by the main site. (The book section stores two small values in your browser's localStorage — an unlock flag and a random reader identifier — described in its policy.)
- No marketing emails you didn't ask for. Form submissions get a reply, not a subscription.
Where your data lives
Form submissions arrive as email to us. Book signups and reading stats go to our own self-hosted automation server — not a third-party marketing platform. AI processing of phone calls produces a transcript summary that is emailed to you and to us.
Your choices
- Delete — email hello@offloadhours.com and ask; we'll remove your information promptly.
- Unsubscribe — every email we send that isn't a direct reply includes a way out; use it, or just tell us.
- Ask — if you want to know what we have about you, email us and we'll tell you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We won't quietly start doing something this page says we don't do.
